Dumisani Washington
Dumisani Washington is the National Diversity Outreach Coordinator for the 3 million-member Christians United for Israel (CUFI). CUFI’s diversity outreach includes African, Asian, Hispanic, and Native American outreach coordinators. Dumisani is also Director of the Institute for Black Solidarity with Israel (IBSI), a social media and library resource of Israel advocacy tools for diverse audiences. His latest book is entitled “Zionism & the Black Church: Why Standing with Israel Will be a Defining Issue for Christians of Color in the 21st Century.” Dumisani is a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and senior pastor of the Congregation of Zion in Stockton, California. He and his wife, Valerie, have been married 27 years and have six children ages 15 to 26.
